The translucent lavender jadeite carved as a Laughing Buddha, to a surround set with circular-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 1.25 carats, surmounted by a jadeite cabochon of translucent emerald green colour, mounted in 18 karat white gold.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificate, the lavender jadeite "Buddha" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the lavender jadeite "Buddha" is highly translucent, of soft purple tone. Upon strong illumination, there are white clouds, very common to lavender jadeite and not noticeable in normal lighting. The tiny jadeite cabochon set atop is of translucent, emerald green colour. Diamonds together weighing approximately 1.25 carats, are about G to H colours, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Karat white gold mount, in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
