Colour and Clarity: According to both Gübelin and GRS reports, the cat's-eye chrysoberyl is natural, with no indication of treatments, of vivid greenish-yellow which also called GRS type "honey-color". GRS further comments that this cat's-eye chrysoberyl shows an "extremely rare combination of size, sharp "Cat's-Eye effect", magnificent colour and excellent transparency". Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the cat's-eye chrysoberyl is natural and transparent, of medium intense brownish yellow colour, displaying a fine chatoyant line (cat's-eye effect) under spot lighting, very clean to naked eyes. There is only one tiny feather inclusion on side under loupe check, not noticeable. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Karat white gold ring mount, in very good condition.

The Gübelin Appendix states that the cat's-eye chrysoberyl 'possesses an exceptional degree of transparency, combined with a straight, well-centered and very pronounced chatoyancy. Such a combination of properties is rare in a chrysoberyl of this size.'
