The translucent icy jadeite and black jadeite, each carved as a Laughing Buddha, to a stylized surround set with variously-shaped diamonds and rubies, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.60 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold and white gold respectively.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificates, the icy and black jadeite “Buddha” pendants are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificates for details. In our opinion, the icy jadeite “Buddha” is highly translucent, with white and a few dark green clouds upon illumination, but not seen when worn. The black jadeite “Buddha” is translucent, of very dark green colour upon strong transmitted lighting. Diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.60cts, are about G to I colours, VS to SI clarity. Rubies on the black jadeite pendant are of lively red hue, eye clean. Condition: Karat white and blackened gold mounts, signs of normal wear to the metal, otherwise both in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
