The ring set with a translucent jadeite plaque of emerald green colour, to a surround set with rock crystal and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat pink gold; and a pin set with a jadeite of translucent emerald green colour, carved as a ruyi, embellished by variously-cut yellow sapphires and diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.65 carats. Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificates, both the jadeite "ruyi" and the plaque are natural, type "A" jadeite. Please refer to the certificates for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "ruyi" is highly translucent, of bright intense emerald green colour; the jadeite plaque is of translucent, emerald green colour. Both jadeites have white or brownish clouds upon strong illumination, but not seen when worn. Diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.65 carats, those set on ring are about J to K colours, and pin are probably H to I colours, overall mostly of VS clarity. The circular yellow stones set on the pin are yellow sapphires, which are of medium deep orangy yellow colour, eye clean. Condition: Signs of normal wear on the mounts, otherwise both in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
