Modelled as a whimsical butterfly, set with twenty-three carved jadeite plaques of translucent emerald green colour and twelve translucent icy jadeite cabochons, embellished by variously-shaped coloured sapphires, tsavorite garnets and diamonds, mounted in 18 karat yellow and blackened gold, with pendant loop fitting.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Testing Certificate, the jadeites, based on random testing, are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, both the jadeites and icy jadeites have very good translucency. The jadeites are matching, of strong emerald green colour, with cloud inclusions upon illumination, but not seen in normal lighting. Icy jadeite cabochons have nice glow. Coloured gemstones are of various hues, including strong red and blue, intense yellow to yellowish orange, pink to purplish pink and yellowish green colour; overall clean to naked eyes. Diamonds together weighing approximately 2.10 carats, are about H to J colours, VS clarity. Condition: Very fine karat blackened and yellow gold mount, in mint condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
