The necklace composed of ruby and emerald beads, spaced by diamond-set rondelles, connected by spacers set with brilliant-cut yellow diamonds, baguette diamonds and step-cut rubies, the centre highlighted by a cabochon ruby weighing approximately 5.40 carats surrounded by variously-shaped diamonds and yellow diamonds, suspending a tassel; and pair of earrings en suite; the emerald beads, ruby beads and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 50.00, 38.00 and 12.35 carats respectively, mounted in 18 karat yellow and white gold, length approximately 400mm. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the ruby beads are of medium purplish red colour, and emerald beads are of medium green colour, good saturation, gemstones with typical inclusions visible to naked eyes, some with surface reaching fissures under 10x loupe. The caliber-cut rubies are of intense purplish red colour, some minor inclusions and surface abrasions, the cabochon ruby of bright purplish red colour, under 10x loupe there are some minor fissures on the side. The diamonds are of E-F colours, VVS to VS clarity, and yellow diamonds of intense yellow to orangy yellow colour, VS to SI1 clarity. The diamonds of yellow hue have not been tested for natural origin of color. Condition: Some slight scratches to metal consistent with wear. In very good condition.
