Description
- Garrard
- emerald, diamond, yellow gold, silver
Centring on a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 4.40 carats, surrounded by old mine-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 6.00 carats, mounted in yellow gold and silver, pin detachable and retractable pendant fittings.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GIA report, the emerald is natural, of Colombian origin, with indications of moderate clarity. Also accompanied by a valuation letter from Garrard. Please refer to the report and letter for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of medium intense green colour, eye clean. Under 10x loupe, there are some natural crystal and fingerprint inclusions, with a few tiny chips and surface fissures on crown, not seen to naked eyes. Old-cut diamonds are about I to J colours, SI to I clarity, lively brilliance.
Condition: Antique brooch, with detachable pin fitting and retractable pendant loop on the back. Signs of wear and minor discolouration to the mount commensurate with its age, otherwise in good condition.
