The carved openwork jadeite belt hook topped by a dragon overlooking a toad and ruyi, symbols of prosperity and good luck, leading to a chi long chasing a pearl, representing the pursuit of perfection, the reverse carved with the Chinese character shou and ruyi, symbolizing longevity and good fortune, measuring approximately 73.0 by 19.7 by 23.4 mm, accented by round and pear-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.30 carats, suspended from a silk cord, signed Dunay, with maker's mark; accompanied by a black cord with 18 karat gold terminals, length 28 inches.
Condition
In good condition. The translucent to semi-translucent jadeite segment is medium-light slightly bluish green to green with splashes of intense green color throughout. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, predominantly VS clarity. Signed on an applied plaque on the reverse of the pendant hook. Length of the black cord approximately 28 inches, length of pendant approximately 4 inches. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2145874347 stating that the jadeite jade is natural, with no indications of impregnation.
