Centering a circular carved and pierced jadeite plaque, completed by a tapered strap applied with green and black enamel, gross weight approximately 40 dwts, length 6½ inches, with French assay and workshop marks.
Condition
In good condition overall with light wear and scratching to the gold, commensurate with use. The translucent jadeite plaque is a medium-light very slightly bluish green with patches of deeper green color, and is nicely carved. The green and black enamel is intact with a few minor nicks and scratches to the black enamel, not visible when worn. Gross weight approximately 40 dwts, length approximately 6 1/2 inches. Fitted with a safety latch. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2165871355 stating that the jadeite jade is natural, with no indications of impregnation.
