Centering an oval-shaped sapphire weighing 2.59 carats, the mounting accented by round and square emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.95 carats, size 5½.
Condition
In good condition. The sapphire is very deep blue and lightly included. Under magnification it exhibits moderate chipping by the girdle. The sapphire is backed by the mounting so it is impossible to inspect the pavilion. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. The mounting shows minute scratching from wear. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 69408 stating that the sapphire is of Thai origin, with indications of heating.
