Description
- platinum, gold, sapphire, diamond
Set with a cushion-cut sapphire weighing 9.16 carats, flanked by baguette diamonds, size 5¾, with maker's mark for Kaufmann de Suisse.
Condition
In good condition with the shank very slightly out-of-round possibly due to a small indication of having been resized at the base of the shank. The sapphire is a richly saturated, medium-deep very slightly violetish blue, eye-clean, with light nicking to the girdle and minor wear to some facet junctions. The two tapered diamond baguettes weigh approximately .14 carat total and are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. There is a partial signature and the shank is numbered 31063. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 70074 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with indications of heating.
