Description
- white gold, natural pearl
Of graduated design, composed of 43 pearls measuring approximately 10.4 to 5.5 mm, length 13½ inches.
Condition
In good condition, the clasp appears to be a relatively recent addition from when the pearls were restrung. The knotting is in good condition, and the strand is nicely flexible. The round to near round pearls present white and slightly golden body colors with varying degrees of pink and green overtones and predominantly high luster. Light blemishing with several examples displaying minor to moderate pitting and other examples revealing minor surface-level cracking and peeling of skins. Pleasingly weighty in the hand, approximately 123 dwts (clasp inclusive). Accompanied by SSEF report no. 81840 stating that the pearls are natural, with 42 pearls of saltwater origin and one pearl of freshwater origin. Accompanied by GIA report no. 1162955742 stating that the pearls are natural, saltwater.
