Set at the front and at the clasp with ten cushion-cut sapphires weighing approximately 67.00 carats, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 19.50 carats, length 14½ inches, the front detaches for wear as a bracelet, length 7 1/8 inches, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered N.Y. 13787; 1948.

Condition

In very good condition. Evidence of solder to the undersides of several diamond-set links, possibly from the time of manufacture. The sapphires are medium-light to medium violetish blue; predominantly slightly included with two moderately included examples. Minute abrasions to the facet junctions. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The two halves may each be worn as a bracelet. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59439 stating that the sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
