The necklace set with 28 oval-shaped and cushion-cut sapphires weighing 89.55 carats, accented by round and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing 26.01 carats, length 16 inches; together with a pair of earrings set with four oval-shaped sapphires weighing 16.05 carats, accented by round and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 4.47 carats.
Condition
All pieces in good condition. The sapphires are a medium slightly violetish blue to violet-blue, ranging from eye-clean to slightly included with some examples of abrasions at the facet junctions and chips throughout, visible only under magnification. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI clarity examples. NECKLACE: Fitted with a safety closure. EARRINGS: Length of earrings approximately 1 5/8 inches. Two certificates state the color of the sapphires as violetish blue, and two other certificates state them as natural violet sapphires. The necklace with five AGL reports and 23 AGL Sapphire Briefs stating that the sapphires are all natural, with no indications of heating. The earrings with two AGL reports and two AGL Sapphire Briefs stating that the sapphires are all natural, with no indications of heating.
