The rock crystal ring gathered at the sides by panels decorated with palmette and tulip motifs, set with old European and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.25 carats, further decorated with cailbré-cut onyx cabochons, unsigned, numbered HSA1910, 0421, with French assay marks; 1922.

Condition

In very good condition with light surface wear to the platinum, minute scratches and nicks to the rock crystal and onyx. Small spot of solder to the pinstem. Diamonds approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Together with Certificate of Authenticity No. GE2003-217 from Cartier stating this 'Cliquet' brooch was manufactured by Cartier Paris in 1922. Please note the pinstem is not illustrated in the printed and online catalogues as it would not be apparent when worn. Length 3 1/2 inches; diameter or rock crystal ring 2 inches.
