The wave design decorated with old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.45 carats, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 47516, with French assay and maker's marks; the three waves detach to be worn separately; circa 1940.
Condition
In good condition with gentle surface wear. Diamonds approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The central clip with signature; all three clips with workshop marks for Dumont et Cie. Additionally numbered on the reverse of the clips: 97, 67 and 97. Though described as a clip-brooch in the printed catalogue, please note this piece is not fitted with a pinstem. Length 2 1/8 inches.
