The canvas has an old glue lining and the support is firm. The paint surface is dirty but stable beneath a yellowed and uneven varnish. the paint surface is abraded slightly n the lower right corner. There are possible retouching in the water above the rowing boat, lower left. A reading under UV is impeded by the streaked and dirty varnish, there appear to be traces of retouches fluorescing beneath. The painting would benefit from a light clean and revarnish.
