Not viewed out of the frame. The board appears sound. There is a very light scratch to the grey pigment towards the centre of the right vertical edge. There is a very small loss to one of the impasto tips of paint in the bottom left quadrant, just above the black line. There is some very minor frame abrasion visible at each of the bottom corners and at the upper left corner. There is some very light surface dirt across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a slightly uneven varnish layer, but no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
