Condition
The sheet appears sound. The sheet appears to be laid down onto a backing card.
There appears to be a repaired tear to the centre of the upper horizontal edge. This has been repaired with a white pigment which has also been applied to one crease at each of the lower corners, to several pinholes apparent to the left and right upper sides of the sheet, and to several extremely small spots at the centre of the building. There are some further soft creases apparent to the sheet, primarily to the lower left quadrant and the upper right corner, with two scuffs in the upper right of the composition. There are some scattered spots of light foxing. There are one or two extremely small specks of surface dirt. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
The work is window mounted and presented in an ornate painted wood and plaster frame, held under glass.
