Condition
This photograph, on semi-glossy paper, has not been examined out of its frame. In raking light, creases and minuscule stress cracks are visible overall. There is minimal soiling on the image and in the margins. The print is unevenly trimmed along the upper and lower margins.
The following is written by the photographer in black ink in the margin: 'Magritte Rammé and the world-record elephant tusks shot on the slopes of Mt. Kilima-njaro (mountain of caravans) in the 1890's and stored in the basement of the Kensington Museum of Natural History. (weight: 226lbs and 214lbs) photo Peter Beard 1976 for The End of the Game / Last Word from Paradise.'
