The triptych is inscribed and signed '2 Sean Riva @ Xmas '94 by Peter B.' The triptych has not been examined out of its frame. It appears to be in generally excellent condition. There are several small tack-holes in the margins. Excess glue is visible at the seams of the prints when examined closely. The diptych is inscribed and signed 'Dear Sean . . . thursday July 27th 1987 . . . Happy Birthday & MANY HAPPY RETURNS from + to Driftwood Cove, "Land's End" + your home from home / "BIG 10" yrs / good (Best) luck, Peter B. 3am.' The diptych is in generally excellent condition. The edges are worn, with some small tears and creases. Foxing, faintly visible upon close examination on the front of the prints, is pervasive on the reverse. The Polaroid SX-70 print is lightly soiled and surface scratches are visible in raking light.
