mounted with plaques painted with classical figures on a gilt diaper ground, the front set with a clockface enamelled to match, the corners with blue enameled corinthian columns painted with flowering vines and topped by urns, the back with a door opening to reveal two drawers with enamel fronts, the dome top flanked by peasant figures on four sides and with a finial of a classical female figure holding a sphere and staff

Condition

the wood with small areas of paint loss and dents, the front panel with a split above the clock face, the wood on the front left column has split from top, the back left column has been reglued, some of the enameled plaques are lacking the twisted gilt borders and some nails, one of the peasant figure finials and one of the urn finials with stripped screws, one plaque and the clock face with chips/cracks to enamel, the clock is pulled out on one side
