enameled royal blue over a wavy guilloché ground within chased varicolor gold entrelac borders, a separate hinged vesta compartment complete with strike plate, the thumbpiece set with rose-cut diamonds, struck with workmaster's initials, Fabergé in Latin script, 88 standard, and scratched inventory number 23811

Elegant and attractive, overall good condtion, small areas of repair (a pinpoint at outer corner of vesta case lid, a 1.5 cm area at upper left on lid of case, and a pinpoint on left end near hinge) visible under blacklight
