- height 4.3cm, 1 5/8 in.
in Rococo taste, carved of nephrite, the scroll cagework mounts set with rose-cut diamonds, the hinged lid with a later circular-cut diamond, associated gold-mounted cork stopper, apparently unmarked
Condition
Very good condition. One join on the lower section repaired with a small area of solder. A few of the diamond settings slightly loose in their mounts. The nephrite with three or four very minor chips. The cork stopper a later replacement.

Compare with the unmarked gold and bloodstone carnet in the Thyssen Collection, which belonged to Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna and is tentatively attributed to Perchin (illustrated, A.
