- width 5cm, 2in.
oval, the lid and sides enamelled in translucent white over wavy engine-turning, opaque white enamel borders, gilt interior, the lid fitted with a mirror, struck with workmaster's initials, 88 standard, and with spurious marks for Fabergé
Condition
The interior of the lid with a later fitted mirror. The top of the lid with one very small enamel loss to the front right edge and one pin point enamel loss. The enamel with one further pin point loss to the reverse to the left of the hinge. The gilding on the bottom and top edges worn.
