- width 5cm, 2in.
of circular cushion form, the surface enamelled in translucent bluish white over concentric wavy engine-turning divided by a band of ribbon-bound leaves, the cabochon ruby pushpiece within a chased stiff leaf collar, on five padded and gadrooned feet, struck with workmaster's initials, 88 standard, the interior of the lower section etched 'No 10', presumably to specify the colour of enamel

Condition
Excellent condition. Two very minor enamel losses - one to the rim of the upper section and another to the underside. The gilding of the leaf tip band worn to the silver, the gilding of the feet and the leaves around the button also worn and tarnished as visible in the printed catalogue illustration.
