Both in excellent condition. The hinge of the match compartment of the first very slightly askew and the interior with evidence of having previously been gilt. The second with light scratches to the interior.

Sir Geoffrey Schomberg Arbuthnot, KCB, DSO (1885-1957) was a Vice Admiral in the British Navy and served as Naval Aide-de-Camp to King George VI.
