of teremok form, the wood body overlaid with foil-backed pierced panels carved with dogs, birds and hares, within engraved and dyed flowers, the lid with hinged handle, bracket feet, divided interior
Condition
Very good condition. A few minor losses to the ivory, including to the back left hinge (possibly due to a repair, the lid very slightly ill-fitting), to the head of one bird and the tail of one dog. The ivory splitting and warping in one or two places. A stain to the front right, visible in the printed catalogue illustration.
