oval with scalloped rim, the sides painted with views of Swiss waterside towns in oval reserves over a frieze of pink roses and rosette lozenges, gilt borders, ram's head handles, the underside inscribed in French 'View of the castle of the small town of Rheinegg/ View of the town of Arbon', blue Imperial cypher of Alexander I

Condition

Excellent condition. One small spot of accretion to the rim. The ends with very small areas of wear to the gilding at the extremities of the goats' noses.
