oval with scalloped rim, the sides painted with views of the Palermo harbour in oval reserves over a frieze of pink roses and rosette lozenges, gilt borders, ram's head handles, the underside inscribed in French 'View of the port of Palermo/ View of the port of the town of Palermo', blue Imperial cypher of Alexander I
Condition
Excellent condition. One area of accretion to the rim. The ends with very light patch of wear to the extremities of the goats' noses. Minor firing flaws to the glaze throughout.
