the cavetto painted en grisaille with Bacchus and two putti on an iron red ground in a hexagonal reserve, the rim border with three roundels depicting Marsyas, a putto and a mythological creature within classical friezes, with gilt Imperial cypher of Nicholas II dated 1897

Condition

Excellent condition. The foot possibly re-gilt with very minor chips consistent with age and use.
