naturalistically carved and pierced around the vase and cover with a gnarled branch suspending small gourds, curled leaves and coiling tendrils, the polished stone with some faint russet inclusions (2)
Condition
There are minute chips to a section of tendril just below one of the small double gourds. There are minute nicks along the edges of the mouth and cover and a minute chip to the end of one stem at the edge of the cover. The stone is a pale celadon color with faint streaky white inclusions and not as white as in the catalogue photo. The russet coloration is also not as saturated.
