comprising a white jade carving of a playful boy riding an elephant while holding a peony spray in one hand, wood stand; a pale celadon jade carving of an old man holding a lingzhi sprig and carrying a young boy, wood stand; a pale celadon carving of a mythical beast grasping a lotus sprig in its mouth; and a pale celadon handled vessel carved with chilong (6)

Condition

The elephant group is in overall good condition. The wood stand with possible minor losses to the reticulated designs. The figure group with a 0.4 cm chip and a small bruise to the left foot, and there are traces of adhesive to the underside of both feet. Wood stand in general good condition. The beast with chips and small losses along the lingzhi sprig and to the tip of the tail. The handled vessel with a 0.4 cm chip to the outer rim. Russet coloration later added. All pieces with minute nicks along the edges and extremities as well as some fissures to the stone. The actual color of the stones is more celadon compared to catalogue photos.
