- jade, nephrite
each carved with stylized shou characters, two with additional alternating bats, mounted in brass, the corner brackets inset with carnelian plaques carved as double-happiness characters, the back with an easel support
Condition
The jade slides are mounted with their ends covered by brass brackets and were not removed for inspection. One slide is broken and repaired. Three of the carnelian plaques have cracks and losses.
