Condition

Overall in good condition. The enameled decoration presents with vivid hues of violet and red, more saturated when viewed in person than in the catalogue illustration. The silver presents with minor surface scratches and minute abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The silver sheet lower proper right edge is slightly irregular, this is not visible when the frame is sitting on a table top. The enamel presents with a few minor and isolated areas of wear with associated minute losses concentrated to the upper proper right corner, and to both lower corners. The wooden back presents with minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. One screw missing to the reverse. The silver of the easel support presents with wonderful details and very minor bending that does not affect the solidity of the frame. The glass face with minor surface scratches and minor surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use and a few minute chips to the edges, not visible when inserted in the frame.
