Condition
Overall in very good condition. The pewter presents with a smooth and bright surface in beautiful contrast to with the blue and green hues of enamelwork. The pewter surfaces with a few light surface scratches, minor dents and a few minute abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use. The recessed portions of the design with evidence of polish residue. The copper face with a shallow indentation below the number III. The enamel has been examined under black light and appears original an undisturbed. The glass face appears to be original and is in good condition with a few light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. Movement is not guaranteed to run at the time of cataloging and was not tested for accuracy of time and may need service at the buyers discretion. A charming small scale carriage clock showcasing the masterwork level enamel work of the designer and firm.
