Condition

Overall in very good condition. The silver surface presents with a subtle sculptural form. The enamel has been examined under black light and appears undisturbed and in very good original condition. There are a few minor surface scratches and minute abrasions to the edges, consistent with age and gentle use. Lacking a pin at the center along the top of the silver portion of the frame. The wooden frame is in good condition, appears to retain the original hardware, with minor discoloration and gentle wear to edges. The reverse retains its original silk fabric with very minor scattered surface staining. The glass face is likely a replacement and in very good condition. This rare frame presents beautifully with strong visual presence.
