Overall very good condition. The silver frame displaying wonderfully dynamic modeling at the corners, accented by richly colored enamel. The silver with very faint scratches consistent with age and gentle handling and minor tarnishing to the recessed areas of the design. The silver face with two missing pins at the upper corners, and as a result the plate is slightly loose from the wooden backing. The reverse retains its original velvet backing , the majority of the velvet has worn away exposing the base fabric. There is minor wear, a few minor nicks and scratches to the edges consistent with age and gentle handling. The easel support appears original and with remnants of the original fabric pull. The fabric liner of the frame is original and with discoloration in a square pattern. The glass face is possibly original. A charming small scale frame.
