Overall in good condition. The shade with approximately 15-18 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, all which appear stable. With some isolated areas of sensitive restoration to the leading on the interior and exterior of the shade. It is probable that some of the glass tiles in these areas have been replaced, though the glass is quite complementary. The bronze shade ring is original. The accompanying hardware (ceiling canopy, rod and chains) and socket cluster have been replaced. The hardware with light surface wear, abrasions, rubbing, and some scattered traces of surface oxidation. When viewed firsthand the coloration of the glass is more varied and nuanced than seen in the catalogue illustrations. The trellis glass shows hues of warm mauve and is less red. The blossoms are articulated in a wide range of colors, including fiery oranges, yellows, pinks, deep ambers, and most notably a rich magenta, which is not sufficiently captured in the catalogue illustrations. A beautiful example of the model displaying a highly artistic and richly saturated glass selection.
