Overall in very good condition. With some small air bubble and particulate inclusions, and some short linear tool marks to the interior and outer rim, all inherent in the making and not at all visually detracting. The exterior with a few occasional light surface scratches. The interior with surface soiling. A beautifully rendered early example distinguished by its thick glass walls and raised “tooled” treatment to the perimeter borders of the leaves. The leaves and vines on the exterior are thoughtfully iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminous color. When viewed firsthand the coloration of the vase is more subtle, naturalistic and less red than seen in the catalogue illustration which is slightly over saturated.
