Overall in very good condition. The patinated bronze surfaces display an exceptionally rich and vibrant russet brown and green patina with some gentle rubbing and surface soiling to the recessed contours of the design, consistent with age and gentle use. The underside with light surface scratches and minor discolorations. The mosaic favrile glass tiles all appear original, intact and undisturbed, with a few isolated tight hairlines (all which appear stable) and with some minor edge wear with some associated minute losses. The mosaic glass is beautifully iridized, imparting the glass with strong luminosity and a range of brilliant jewel-tone hues. The tiles display vigorous wave-form decoration which imparts the jardinière with strong rhythmic movement. The bottom interior of the jardinière (beneath the liner) and interior rim with minor surface discolorations and oxidation. With a replaced interior liner executed in a manner consistent with those produced by the company and showing a complementary patina. A beautiful example of the model employing luminous mosaic tiles in a vibrant range of colors that complement the rich patina of the bronze “Arrowhead” motif.
