Overall in very good condition. The “lily” shades are a well-matched assembled set displaying complementary form and coloration. The shades are beautifully iridized and when viewed with reflected light display strong luminous color in a range of brilliant jewel-tone hues. One Lily shade with a small surface fleck along the top aperture rim; another with a minute pin head size fleck to the top aperture rim (both minor and not at all visible when the shades are installed). One “Lily” shade with scattered iridescence spots to the exterior and interior surfaces inherent in the making. The central favrile glass shade and inset Turtle-Back tiles with some small, scattered air bubble and particulate inclusions, inherent in the making and not visually detracting. The central glass shade and Turtle-Back tiles are in excellent condition. The central shade shows beautifully rendered pulled-feather decoration. All of these glass elements are iridized on the exterior, imparting the fixture with strong luminous color. The patinated bronze surfaces of the fixture with light surface wear and traces of minor surface soiling and residue consistent with age and gentle handling. With small traces of white paint on two of the shade arms. The decorative ceiling collar appears original with a complementary patina, showing traces of white paint residue to the rope decoration. The two interior sockets appear original and undisturbed. All of the patinated floral bobeches and interior porcelain lily sockets appear to be original; one porcelain socket is cracked and glued (the socket is stable and functional). Upon close inspection the upper recessed region of the sockets have been insulated with electrical tape inside the floral bobeches (all sockets stable and functional). A beautiful example of this rare ceiling fixture design displaying elegant and refined proportions.
