The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. There is an artist's pinhole in each of the four corners, two of which (lower and upper left) have resulted in tiny cracks around. There are tiny, hairline cracks on the black paint by the lower edge, visible only under very close inspection. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
