The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the yellow is warmer and brighter in the original work. Moreover, the image does not accurately convey the rich and thick texture of the impastos, especially the white areas. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The white areas present some light hairline, stabilized cracks. There are some stabilized cracks on the black impasto located on the upper right quadrant. A dent resulting in a small tear (approx. 1 cm) is visible on the back of the canvas, under the stretcher, located at 75 cm from the left edge and 65 cm from the lower edge. Under Ultra Violet light inspection a small retouching is visible in the ocre paint in the upper right quadrant and on the white paint corresponding to the previously mentioned dent. The work is in very good condtion.
