Condition

The canvas is not lined. There are a few very fine lines of craquelure in places. There is a small spot of dirt towards the left part of the lower edge (visible in the catalogue illustration) and a very small spot of beige pigment to the man's thigh at the lower right quadrant. There are a few spots of fly dirt to the upper part of the composition. There is no evidence of retouching under UV light. Colours are bright and fresh. This work is in very good condition.
