The bronze is sound with an attractive brown patina. There is some slight time-wear to the patina on some of the protruding areas and a few specks of patina loss in a few areas along the sharp edges of the base. There is an overall build-up of surface dust and some scattered white specks of dirt easily removable in areas of the base. This work is in very good original condition.

signed 'R. Bugatti', stamped 'Cire perdue A.A. Hébrard' and numbered '(8)'; bronze. Conceived in 1912. This example was cast in 1929 in an edition of 16.
