The canvas is not lined. Under UV light, there is a small area of retouching in the grey pigment, towards the centre of upper edge, with an associated patch on the verso. There are two very thin lines of retouching along upper and right edges, suggesting stretcher marks restorations. There is a small paint loss to the centre of lower edge in the red pigment (visible in the catalogue illustration). This work is in good condition.
