Condition
Executed on cream wove paper bearing a « Véritable papier d'Arches fin » watermark, laid down on cardboard. The all four edges are deckled. The black pigments get slightly mouldy in places (visible on the catalogue illustration), this should be easily removable by a professional restorer. There is some minor mount-staining to the left and right extreme edges and some of the edges are very slightly scuffed. There are a few media marks in places. A minor spot of foxing under the figure's proper right eye. Otherwise, this work is in good condition.
