The board is sound. In the lower left corner there is an area of slight uneveness to the board, which appears to be inkeeping with the artist's materials. There is a scuff in the lower left quadrant and a resultant small tear and loss to one paper collage element. There are two further minor points of abrasion in the lower right quadrant. The corners of two paper collage elements in the lower right quadrant are slightly lifting, but all the other collage elements appear soundly affixed. The adhesive has discoloured slightly, resulting in some minor staining to some of the collage elements. There is some light surface dirt. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition. The work is held within a gilt frame with a linen slip and a painted wooden rebate.
