Sale, Christie's London, 23rd September 1993, lot 52, where acquired by David Bowie
Condition
Unexamined out of the frame. The work appears to be attached the mount along the upper horizontal edge, but is not laid down. The upper horizontal edge of the sheet is deckled and the other edges are uneven, in line with the artist's materials. There is an artist's pinhole in the upper left corner, and losses to the sheet in the upper right and lower left corners, most probably in keeping with the artist's working method. The sheet is slightly cockled in places. Subject to the above the work is in excellent overall condition.
The work is float mounted within a simple black wooden frame and held under glass.
